So you went and had your oil changed and walked out with a $1500 estimate for brakes, fluid flushes, etc etc.
They also have to put new calipers in to warranty the brake job (nope not true) It happens.
These same folks have come to me and I've told them to come back in about 15k when the brakes will actually be worn out.
Always get a second opinion.
Last shop I worked for was getting $165/hr.
